KAPPA ALPHA PI
PRE-LAW PROFESSIONAL FRATERNITY AT THE UNIVERSITY OF ILLINOIS - URBANA CHAMPAIGN
KAP HISTORY
Kappa Alpha Pi, founded by Kayla Candos and Dakota Richmond, is The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign’s first co-ed, professional, pre-law and fraternity. At its inception in January 2019, KAP has strived to educate members about the law and prepare them for a bright future. KAPi is focused on its three pillars of professionalism, service, and brotherhood to educate members, foster relationships, and to serve our greater community. As the KAPi Mu chapter, we provide undergraduate students with ample networking opportunities, knowledge of the law, and plentiful resources to best prepare students on their journey to law school and beyond.
KAPi chapters can be found from coast to coast and strive to continue to build and grow the community. The other chapters are located at the University at Albany, University of California, Los Angeles, University of California, Riverside, Chapman University, Cornell University, University of Michigan, Michigan State University, and the University of Tennessee. KAPi chapters, especially the Mu chapter, are dedicated to provide the best fraternal experience, while exuding professionalism in best preparation for law school and beyond.
